Water purification, desalination and municipal sewer systems.
Many Haitians — especially in rural areas — lack reliable access to clean water, and sustainable collection and treatment of sewage is practically non-existent in much of the country. Poor sanitation contributes directly to the spread of waterborne disease.
Our goals
- Water purification so communities have safe water for drinking and cooking
- A desalination program that turns ocean water into clean water for consumption
- Municipal sewer systems with sustainable collection and treatment of sewage
- Education on safe water storage, hygiene and sanitation
The water and sanitation sector depends heavily on outside financial assistance, so no contribution is too small.
